Album page edges can be gilded in gold, silver, black or left ungilded.
SPRAYING |
||
![]() |
Spraying your mounted album prints helps to prevent fingerprints, scratches and surfaces from sticking together during production. If you send prints which have already been sprayed, we cannot be responsible for scratches or problems with the spray that might occur in-plant. Photographs printed on fibre-based paper cannot be sprayed.
TEXTURING |
||
![]() |
A pebble texture protects the print and masks imperfections on the emulsion caused by handling of the print. Note: Prints with airbrushing or heavy artwork cannot be textured.
INVITATION/BLANK PAGE |
||
| Blank pages or pages with anything other than photographs mounted on them will increase the risk of warping. It is preferable that you photograph invitations and number the prints in sequence as regular prints. Mounting the actual invitation will increase the risk that the page, cover or entire book will warp over time. Also, the paper stock used for most invitations is not archival and will discolor over time. | ||
